As a full-time divorce and family mediator with more than 20 years of experience in mediation and the law, I have helped many couples and families reach agreements. I am dedicated to providing expert, attentive, and affordable services to every client. I balance careful attention to detail and legal technicalities with a big picture view of your ultimate goals. I am also committed to staying up to date with best practices in the mediation field.
As a member of a large extended family, I realize family disputes are difficult but common. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where people can move toward respectful, productive discussions and solutions. I help people understand their options, communicate with each other, think creatively, and get results. I also help people determine what details they need to consider and walk them through the pros and cons of various approaches.
I hold a B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. I have completed intensive mediation training with the Center for Understanding in Conflict as well as Adult Family Conflict Resolution training with Elder Decisions. Finally, I am an accredited claims attorney for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
